A Little Village - Tim Duncan
Tim has found his place in the studio at the clinical department in Monster. He comes here every day to sculpt and paint. A major theme in his work is the clowns that are also depicted on these socks in the little village. Clowns always wear a mask, so you can never really see what the person behind the mask feels and thinks. Tim told us that we all wear these masks and by depicting them in this way, he comes closer to the emotions that lie behind each mask.

These limited edition socks are part of a unique collaboration between Kunstsokken and REAKT, an organization within the mental health care sector that helps people with a psychological or addiction background through creative and therapeutic projects. Together we selected three works of art, including this work by Tim, and translated them into our socks.
