DIVA - Ferdinand Metz
Ferdinand is a big fan of all kinds of different art movements and drawing styles. In much of his work, his ‘dolls’ are a great inspiration to him. In the work DIVA he depicts his most flamboyant of the bunch. These dolls are like family to Ferdinand. He dresses them, he makes family portraits. They give him self-confidence and a feeling of security and he takes them everywhere with him. Ferdinand often travels all over the world and his dolls do not stay at home. He even takes more clothes for them on these trips than for himself!

These limited edition socks are part of a unique collaboration between Kunstsokken and REAKT, an organization within the mental health care that helps people with a psychological or addiction background through creative and therapeutic projects. Together we have selected three works of art, including this work by Tim, and translated them into our socks.
